Body Work

The quiet of gentle touch can elicit profound opportunities for healing. Using advanced manual therapy skills, Joy uses her hands to listen to the body’s story of tension and pain. She creates space for restoration of function to decrease pain and improve mobility.  Treatments are done fully clothed on a massage table.  Joy’s treatments seek to uncover the source of the problem which may or may not be where the pain is felt.  Treatments are multi-dimensional working with the physical, spiritual, emotional, mental, and energetic aspects of the self. She facilitates your movement into wholeness and integration.

Joy works with individuals of all ages. She has experience with concussions, chronic pain syndromes, neck, lower back, and overuse syndromes.
